Does this work?
When you start your journey into the world of the Law of Attraction, that’s the kind of thought you have. You’ve read all the books. Followed all the courses.
And now you only have one question in mind:
“What are the ways to measure progress or success in my manifestation journey?”
A lot of what we want to manifest isn’t tangible. Like better health. Finding a partner. Becoming happier.
How do you measure progress in these fields? Is no headache today a sign of improvement? Is a smile from a handsome stranger an indication of interest that can lead to more?
There’s a couple of ways you can go to find out.
Start Small
Pick a small thing…
One that has no significant meaning to you, like seeing a red cat near a particular tree. Or finding $1 on the street. Or getting a pleasant but small surprise from a friend.
When it’s a small thing, you can more easily believe that you can obtain it.
We humans don’t have the same mindset as the Universe. We think that small things are easy to create and big things are hard. We also think that small things can come faster, and big things slower.
When it comes to manifesting, your belief matters.
Do you see it as a possibility that you would find a dollar on the street? Sure, that should be easy, right? But would you also think you stood a chance of finding one million dollars on the street?
Probably not.
Statistically, you would be right. More people find a dollar on the street than find a million dollars left there. And yet… it happens.
A poker player makes a phone call and puts down his briefcase full of money.
He forgets about it. And somebody else finds it. Yes, it has happened.
But if you’re new to the Law of Attraction, coming up with small things to go for seems more doable.
And when it seems more doable, faster and easier, it’s easy for you to measure if you get it shortly after or not.
Set a Date
Another way to know if you’re making progress or not is to set a date.
Decide that by X date in Y month and Z year, your wish should be manifested. If it is, then it’s a success. If it isn’t, then something went wrong.
Maybe.
What you may see as a failure, in the eyes of the Universe is a victory. If you desperately want to attract a specific person to become your partner – or return to you – and he/she doesn’t, you may think, “This stuff isn’t working.”
But maybe there’s a good reason why you’re not with this person. Maybe he/she isn’t a good person at all. Or just not good for you.
Maybe someone else will be better for you and he/she is waiting just around the corner.
If you’d manifested that specific person you wanted, you couldn’t meet the better person. And so, what you see as a failure is, in reality, a success.
In other cases, it’s a failure.
Let’s say you wanted $10,000 in your bank account one week after you started to visualize this goal. And when you reached that date and didn’t see $10,000, you judge it as a failure. It is.
Now it’s time to look at why you failed.
Did you believe you would manifest the $10,000? Or did it feel unreal to you? Your feelings will tell the truth.
If you send out emotions that say, “I can’t make $10,000 but I want that money,” then the Universe will react to it.
You’re sending out feelings of distrust in yourself, your goal and maybe even in the Universe. Plus, you’re sending out signals that you’re lacking money.
Guess what?
You’ll get more lack and you’ll get exactly what you sent out.
Make the goal measurable and believable to you. Do you think you can make $100 in a week? Yes?
Then go for it. Set a date and use your preferred manifestation method. Then check your account when you reach the date.
Stop Measuring, Start Trusting
You’re looking for ways to measure your progress.
But isn’t that just showing doubt about the whole process? You’re looking for signs that you’re on the right way. Why else would you measure it?
And you know how it goes if you send out those kinds of signals, right?
You’ll get more doubt. More lack. And less progress.
So instead of trying to measure your success, just state your intention, do your visualization or what you normally do. Then just go around your day trusting that you’ll manifest your desire.
Stop measuring and start trusting.
The best is simply to let go. Once you’ve sent out your order to the Universe, trust that you’ll receive it. Don’t check in every five minutes to see if your order is on its way or not.
This is the equivalent of a child asking, “Are we there yet?” every five minutes while on a journey that will take hours.
It doesn’t speed up the process, and it only serves to annoy the parents. Or in our case, the Universe who is preparing the object you’re trying to manifest.
I won’t lie to you.
Blind trust is difficult. You’ll be the victim of all kinds of doubt. Especially if you’re like most people.
Lack of self-confidence will make you doubt the outcome.
Are you at all worthy of getting what you want? Maybe the Universe will help all other people, good people, but you’ve done bad things in your life… So you can’t expect any easy wins, can you?
Well, it doesn’t seem to work that way.
Nobody is without fail. Nobody is all good. We all have sides we wish were different, but we are who we are.
And the Universe loves us, anyway.
Conclusion
Sure, you can measure your progress.
You can start with small goals that you see as easy obtainable and fast done.
You can test your abilities by setting a date and keeping the goal believable.
And finally, you can make the best choice of not measuring at all. Put all your trust in yourself and the Universe instead. And obtain everything your heart desires.
